Julia Denise Holliday's Obituary
Julia Denise Holliday, 74, passed away on May 14, 2026.
Julia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose life was marked by dedication to her family and the many simple joys she cherished. Her keen mind and intellect made her a natural problem solver and a source of reason and sound advice to all who were blessed to know her. She built a meaningful career as a government analyst, where her diligence, intelligence, and commitment to service earned her numerous awards and the respect of colleagues and those she served.
Outside of her professional life, Julia found great happiness in her hobbies. She had a love for sewing, quilting, and gardening—crafts that reflected both her creativity and her patient, caring spirit. Whether tending to her garden, working on a quilt, or creating something by hand, Julia took pride in the beauty she brought into the world and the warmth she shared with those around her.
Julia is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, Richard “Doc” Holliday, who stood by her side through a lifetime of love and partnership. She also leaves behind her daughters, Amber Holliday and Andi Camp, and her cherished grandchildren, Morgan Camp and Peyton Camp, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
She is also survived by her sister, Jana Blackwelder (Keith); her brothers-in-law, Keith Holliday (Gina) and Mike Holliday (Debbie); her sister-in-law, Nelda Morgan; and her nieces and nephews, Clay (Brigitte), Drew (Tiffany), Brad (Becky), Erin, Tucker, Tyler, Kristy, Jason, Nick, and Dan. Julia shared close bonds with her extended family, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Lewis and Mildred Morgan, and her brother Joe Morgan.
Julia’s legacy is one of love, creativity, and quiet strength. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her devotion to family, and the lasting impact she made on the lives of those fortunate enough to know her.
A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered.
