My Brother, John (ZΘ462), loved God, his wife and family, and was devoted to Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity at the University of Memphis. We often talked about how our association with the fraternity helped shaped our adult lives. In the last several years John worked tirelessly with me and other Zeta Theta alumni to reinstate the Edward B. Orio Memorial Scholarship at the University of Memphis, revive the Zeta Theta Alumni Association, and establish a fund through the ΛXA Educational Foundation. Additionally, he attended alumni events and initiations whenever possible. Anytime we greeted each other, whether in person or other communications, John always began the conversation with, "Hello, Brother...". He was the perfect example of "Not for four years, but for life." I loved my Brother, John. May he Rest in Peace.
