To Liane, Walter and John Your mother was such a sweet and lovely lady. Both of your parents were a blessing to my family. My mom and dad treasured the friendship of your parents. Your mom was so good to check on us through the illness and loss of my parents. Liane and Walter – it was always fun to babysit you two while your mom taught piano but sometimes Walter was not patient about staying in the den. My sympathies to Mrs. Jackson’s family. I was her student through elementary school at SBEC and can picture her in my mind’s eye standing behind the piano pounding out the chords to “This is the Day That The Lord Hath Made” while leading us in song as we walked into chapel. She made a difference in my life and in those of many others with her skills as musician and teacher and her heart for children.
