Jere Alexander Nichols, 92, of Memphis, TN passed away at home on June 16, 2022. He was born on October 19, 1929 in Montgomery, Alabama to Chris Woodie Nichols and Christine Wetzel Trevarthen. Mr. Nichols was a graduate from Memp Read Obituary
Jere was one of the first guys I met at Memphis State in 1950. We dated when either of us needed a date for a party or dance-always just good friends. At his invitation I spent a few days at Ft. Campbell, KY when he was there with the Red Cross.
A few years ago I called and chatted with him.

Uncle Jere was a giver. He cared very much for others and it reflected in his career and every day life.
I am very lucky to have learned so much from him and we were so lucky to have him in our lives and family.
