Janet was one of our group of friends in the last years of high school. She was very special, very pretty, very independent, very outgoing. No one like her. She made a very good life for herself, just too short. We are all proud of her accomplishments as a human being. Rest in peace my friend. – Don Perley

the past 8 years Janet would share loving stories with me as I did her hair how much she loved her husband and Alex was growing up to be such a fine young man he was so proud of himjanet was always cheerful and in a great mood every time I saw her she was a precious joy to be around a breath of sunshine she absolutely adored her husband and was so proud that she chose him to be the father of her childand she left this earth knowing that Alex was in good capable hands and that he was going to grow up to be an absolutely fabulous manjanet was very strong and her religious faith and we had all of our church members praying for her we now know that she is in the hands of Godthank you Janet for being a part of my life I love you and I miss you go with God

Regardless of how bad Janet was felling, the first thing she said to me was always ,” How are you doing? I will treasure her optimism, humor, and kindness and caring demeanor. I will miss her and do wish that I met her long ago…but I truly feel that we did not meet by accident at this time! Her greatest gift to me was her allowing me into her Heart as a friend and her kindred spirit.
Janet was like a second mother to me and I will always miss her wonderful dinners as well as talking politics with her.

Geoff, Alex and Annie,Thinking of all of you and so wishing I had gotten to Cordova to see Janet during the last few months. I will cherish the many phone calls we had and have saved some of her voice mails. We shared memories of our childhood, our fun overnighters, our sisters and our parents.
