Jane Ratton's Obituary
Jane Tyler Ratton, 96, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away peacefully on August 8, 2015 at the Memphis Jewish Home. She was born on May 2, 1919 in Newport, Arkansas to Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Tyler.She was married to Dr. Robert W. Ratton. Jane is survived by her daughter, Joann Feltus (Oliver) of Lexington, Kentucky and son, Robert W. Ratton, Jr. (Kelli) of Germantown, Tennessee. She leaves grandchildren Agatha Feltus (Michael Jarrell) of Indianapolis, Indiana; Sarah Feltus of Lexington, Kentucky; Rob Ratton (Katie) of Memphis, Tennessee; and David Ratton (Allison), also of Memphis, Tennessee; she also leaves six great-grandchildren.She was a long term member and board member of the former 19th Century Club and an avid bridge player at the club and with her friends.Mrs. Ratton was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Robert W. Ratton, her parents, and her sister, Ann Tyler Penix.She was a member of Second Presbyterian Church for many years.Private services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Memphis Jewish Home and Rehab or a charity of the donor’s choice.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119, “Celebrating Life… Behind the Stone Wall”
