Mr. Tuggle was a mainstay at Beth Sholom Synagogue for more years than I can recall. He and his extended family were the glue that held everything together, from the grounds, to the interior, to the food. I left Memphis about 15 years ago, but my sons (now grown) remember Mr. Tuggle like they were with him yesterday. He was wonderful and wise. Mr. Tuggle will be missed on this earth, but will receive a warm welcome in Heaven, where he will receive an appreciative reception in recognition all his good deeds and caring. May memories of James Tuggle buoy the spirits of the Tuggle family when they are low.
