James Kenneth Burk Jr.'s Obituary
James Kenneth Burk, Jr., resident of Memphis, Tennessee, was born on August 5, 1963, and went to be with our Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at the age of 62.
Ken loved spending time playing music on his many guitars. He was a self-taught musician who also shared his talent playing the piano with friends. After Ken graduated from Bartlett High School, he went on to learn all he could about heating and air conditioning, enjoying a lifelong passion as a maintenance technician.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents, James Kenneth Burk, Sr. and Vernean Drake Burk. He is survived by his sister, Pam Montgomery (David) of Clinton, Mississippi, and two nieces, Kelsi and Alexis.
The visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Sunday, November 30, 2025 at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave., Memphis, TN. A graveside will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.
