Ken started working at Lutheran Village Condominiums on Sept. 1, 2016. He was a tremendous asset to the business. He was known as MacGyver because if it could be fixed, Ken would get it done. His maintenance budget was under almost $7,000 due to his wide variety of skills.
Ken had his moments of being "all business", but when things were slow, he showed us that he was also very witty. On my last day seeing him on this earth, he shared a few jokes that made us all laugh.
Ken was not afraid of dying because he knew without a shadow of a doubt where he was going. We talked a lot about heaven and the importance of understanding our maker.

He was a cheerful child who enjoyed camping with his family at the lake, and he was eager to learn new things. I have fond memories of his youth. He supported himself through hard work in HVAC and plumbing, earning respect from colleagues for his skills and willingness to teach. His positive attitude will no doubt be missed.
Ken often referred to the Maintenance shop as Santa’s Workshop. This picture reminds me of that.
