Dear Jan and Family:Thank you so much for sharing Howard with us at Methodist Germantown Hospital. He was a valued member of our team. He touched many, many lives. Not just lives of patients, families, and visitors but also our team. He was special.Personally, Howard was my friend. He was also my mentor, although he probably would say otherwise. On the many times our daily paths crossed, he would always ask about my family, my leadership, my team. He was always so sincere and consistent with message to me….”keep the right things first”. He had a knack for connecting with me in a way that it seemed like God was using him to send his message. Very special.At Methodist, we state our vision is “to improve every life we touch”. Dear Jan and Family,

Howard was such a special person, a quality gentleman, a gentle soul. It was an honor to have known him and to have been able to work with him when I was the Volunteer Coordinator at Methodist Hospital Germantown. He certainly exemplified a servant’s heart…and, he certainly brightened my day when he was there on Wednesdays.

Words are not enough to tell you how deeply sorry we all are not to have Howard with us. He was a delightful person to have been in our lives. We appreciate all his years of faithful Volunteering here at Methodist Germantown Hospital. It was always such a pleasure seeing Howard and Nigel here Volunteering together all those many years. He will always be remembered as one of the best !
