Mark Meadows
I grew up next to the Hilbuns in Memphis, TN. Mr. Hilbun’s youngest son, Ted, was sort of my big brother. He was always doing fun things with me and that was a tribute, I think, to his father and how he raised his boys. There was quite an age difference between us yet Ted always made time for me. He made me a skateboard with a piece of wood and some old roller skates. He gave me one of his old golf clubs so I could practice golf. I know Mr. Hilbun was an avid golfer. The Hilbuns were great neighbors and great people. Mrs. Hilbun was so nice and she sure loved Herb and her sons. I am just sorry that I did not make the time to get out to Windyke Country Club while he was still alive to go out and say hello.Mark Meadows Memphis, TN
