Deb, loved your Mom and family and all the cute nicknames, Mazie, Pitty Pat, Wixie, Bambi. So many early grade school and high school memories. I often thought about your Mother after Mom died and wondered if your Mom was still living over by Catholic High. Still so beautiful in that picture! I was in church Sunday and was talking after mass to the person who takes care of the church and events and he told me about the funeral this week. I asked if the name was "Brothers" when he said Crossley, as Mother always said Justine Brothers when talking about her! So enjoyed our younger years with your family! Bless you all. 108! Outstanding, wonderful, loving life and memories.

I posted some of my favorite memories of my dear Auntie Teen. So many memories came pouring from my heart, and I tried to share them with her friends and family. For some reason, they did not post here and I cannot re-create it. As I said, it came straight from my heart. I will hope that Aunt Teen and Uncle Butch saw and felt what I shared. I don’t know why it didn’t post here, but I am upset about that. I had hoped that maybe they just hold memories to review and make sure they are suitable for posting, but apparently that is not the case because it has been a few hours. Just know I am devastated. I have the fondest memories of my Aunt Teen and time spent with her family in her home. I have so much love in my heart, and I am so grateful for everything this family did for our family as we moved throughout the country. Teen and Butch Crossley were the epitome of a southern legacy. They built a strong, beautiful family and touched everyone who came into contact with them.
