Hazel M. Zachary's Obituary
Hazel M. Zachary, 101, passed away on May 23, 2026.
Mrs. Zachary was a devoted member of Renewal Church. She found great joy in studying the Bible and living out her beliefs daily. Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life.
Above all, she cherished time spent with her family, whose lives she touched with love, wisdom, and kindness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, N.E. Zachary, and one son, James Zachary, and her six siblings.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, William “Bill” Zachary, two grandchildren, Michael Zachary and Angela Zachary, four great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to her devoted caregivers, Betty, Mona, and Moretha, for the loving and compassionate care they provided.
Memorials in Mrs. Zachary’s honor can be made to Renewal Church or a charity of the donor’s choice.
The visitation will be held at Renewal Church, 5016 Summer Ave., Memphis TN 38122 Saturday, June 6, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. until the service time at 1:30 p.m.
The family will have a private entombment at Memorial Park Cemetery.
