Elizabeth Zachary
There are so many things I'll remember about my Great Grandmother Hazel, but some of my favorite memories are the simple ones.
When I was little I spent a lot of mornings with her. She'd be drinking her coffee, reading her Bible, and making me breakfast. At the time it just felt like being with Nana. Now I realize those moments helped shape who I am. She taught me about faith, patience, and always told me how much love I deserve, and to never settle for less.
The older I've gotten, the more I've realized how much of an impact she had on my life. She was a constant source of love, comfort, wisdom, and strength. She helped raise me into the person I am today, and I will always be grateful for that.
My heart hurts knowing she's gone, but I find comfort in knowing that a piece of her will always be with me. In my faith, in the memories I carry, and even in the quiet mornings with a cup of coffee.
Thank you for loving me so deeply. Thank you for every breakfast, every story, every lesson, every prayer, and every hug. Thank you for helping raise me and for being such an important part of my life.
I will miss you more than words can express, but I will carry your memory in my heart forever.
Love you Nana 💖
