Though the eyes of a child, I met Mrs Davis in 1964. She moved into the neighborhood. As a child she taught all of us in the neighborhood about the love of the Lord. She was there to make sure all of us kids had clean hands and face, before she fed us, she made sure we were never hungry or thirsty.
She was like a pioneer woman living in the city. She was always there for everyone. I will never forget all that she has done for me. One of the last things that she told me was to read my Bible. So I am going to pass this on to ya'll. Always be quick to forgive, short to judge, and make sure to always read your Bible. Amen.
