Memory’s of Mom are many. Several was her love of those at Handicapped Inc. (Raymond Skinner Center) where some of us Volunteered and worked with Mentally / Physically Challenged people. Mom loved to Square Dance with them and swim with them. Helped with Benefits to raise money to help the center. Mom also had a love for the Memphis State Basketball. She would have extra glasses ready for those that wore glasses playing basket ball. Mom loved Square Dancing and traveling out west. My greatest Memory is the sacrifice that Mom made when she Married my Dad and left England to come to America with him to Memphis Tennessee. Never seeing her family till after dad died. Mom I loved you and didn’t tell you enough. Last Memory is mom was a great cook and cooked and you better be hungry when she cooked. Now Resting and not forgotten.
