I knew Lee for 47 years, business and personal. He was a great guy. Cindy and I traveled some with him and Susan. The last few years I would mainly run into him at Tiger football games. I did not know Lee had any health issues so it was a big shock to me when he passed. Best wishes to Susan and the rest of Lee's family.
I/ we only knew Lee for a short period of time probably eight months. Joined our Golf Group here at Kelly Plantation , a great golfer and fun to play with. Really considered him a friend in the short period of time. Heart goes out to Susan and the family, we just wanted you to know what a great guy we thought he was, as well as everybody else. It’s very sad!

I am so saddened to hear of the passing of Lee. He will always be special in my heart for his support of me as the first company that gave me a chance to follow my dream of safety consulting. My brother Lee Walker was 8 years older than than I so when we were small I was probably a nuisance to him. If I was he never showed it. He would take up for me if his friends tried to aggravate me. He took his own time to as a teen to volunteer when needed. When no adults would step up to coach my peewee baseball team he came forward to coach it with a good friend Sandy Bell. He put his all into it as well. They took 12 kids that were just learning to catch and throw into a fine team. Once he took a carload of us on a camping trip because there were no adults available. He taught me to play golf and even let me caddy for him when he won the Jr. Match play at Colonial. I guess what I'm trying to say is my big brother was unselfish with his time and always had patience when I was around. There are so many things that he taught me or had a influence, I could right almost a book. He was as good a brother as possible. Hunting,
fishing, investing and business. If I asked he was always there. Rest peacefully my Brother!
Lee and I have been friends for over 55 years. Like most of our friends, we partied together in high school and college, experienced the challenges of MLK’s death and the Vietnam War, fell in love, and experienced the joy of children and career decisions. Our families enjoyed University of Memphis sports for 50 years, many golf trips, more than our share of broken golf clubs, and the lasting joy of our friends. These are the memories I will never forget.

I only came to know Lee in the last couple of years as part of our Kelly Plantation golf group, but felt I knew him much longer. I always enjoyed playing with him, and he always was a positive and friendly soul. He was taken too early. We will all miss him here, and our deepest sympathies to you, Susan, and your family.

Lee was my loving brother for 65 years. Even being 8 years apart he had a tremendous impact on my life. When I was 7 he took time to coach my first baseball team at Mullins Meth. None of the Dad's had the time so he volunteered. Totally unselfish! He taught me to play golf, fish and helped me with scouts. Drove a carload of us Down to a camp out once. Let me caddy for him when he won the Jr. Match play at the old CCC. Even if he didn't want to do some things, he would always come through. He taught me how to treat people, girls mostly! Rarely raised his voice but he knew when and what to say to get his point across. Well respected! I could keep going but I will end with this. Lee was a good brother, son, Father, Husband and friend. Not a angel but a fine man! I will miss you tremendously!
