Gloria was a sweet woman. We have gone to Bartlett UMC for 26 years, but attended different services than Gloria, so seldom saw her. But soon after moving to Memphis were in Pensacola on vacation and attended the Methodist Church on Gulf Breeze and I recognized her as she sat behind us with her daughter who lived there at the time. We considered ourselves as friends from then on and she was always a very pleasant woman with a warm personality. We will miss her. Due to health problems my wife and I will be unable to attend the funeral.
Gloria is someone who I always respected, trusted and called a friend in the many years she worked here as an assistant at FedEx. Anyone who spoke with her knew that she could make your day bright. She was one of a kind and a very classy lady! Missed talking with Miss “Glo” when she retired. Love to the entire family!Rachel Harvey

I was very saddened to hear the news of Gloria’s passing. My heart goes out the family on the loss of such a wonderful lady. My Mother – a neighbour and friend of Gloria’s at Town Village – shared this with me last night over the phone as I was preparing my next visit from the Netherlands where I live. I really enjoyed – and had come to look forward to -the visits I would share with Gloria. She was always in a positive mood and always had interesting stories to share! She will be missed by many, but never forgotten.
