Jennifer Harrison lit a candle in memory of Glenn Williams
I met Dr. Williams over 20 years ago while working as an RN in CVICU. He was one of the smartest, caring, kindest physicians to work alongside. One of my favorites!! Years later, I had the privilege of crossing his path again. STILL one of the smartest, most caring, kindest people I have ever met. This is a loss to our community, and my heart breaks for Dr. Williams' family, friends, loved ones, patients and co-workers. Prayers of peace, comfort and beautiful memories.
What a wonderful human being. I knew Glen most of my life. He cared for a younger brother whom had muscular dystrophy. He cheered me on during residency and med school. I had the honor to work with him for nearly 10 years, caring for those lucky enough to get heart transplants. He was always ready with a laugh and a smile. He will be missed.
I had the privilege of cycling with Dr.Glenn “Youngster” Williams as I called him on many occasions. His big smile could warm up an entire peloton and he was very inspirational to all. We had one last 100 mile all night bike ride recently and it was truly an honor to buy him the last V8 at the store for a rest stop. His final words to me was “I Love you Man”, as we parted ways. Thank you Glenn for all that you did and touching so many lives. Rest well my friend. Love you 🙏🏽
I worked with Dr. Williams at the hospital and also at his office and it was truly a privilege. He took so much time with his patients and he will be missed by family and patients. He also took time with those who worked with Jim at the hospital. Always professional and kind.
Prayers to his family. I worked with him many years ago. I remember him as a wonderful Doctor. He was attentive to his patients and their families, a doctor I would send a family member to see. He was easy to work with and kind to the staff. He was good people.
Dr. Glenn Williams was the most amazing physician and man. I have known him for over 20 years. He was the easiest man to call in the middle of the night if we had an issue with a patient. He was always kind to the nurses (a tactic that is crucial to doctors). He was funny. He was happy and cheerful. He was the GOAT. I have been around a long time and have known many doctors…. He was real. A kind human that cared for all of his patients. I can’t prepare myself for Sunday. I just hugged him less than a week before he left this earth. I cannot accept that his beautiful wife has to endure the rest of her life without her partner. He served. He deserved to enjoy life with her. Im beyond sad. I will love you for all you were. And i will love you always. Fly high Doc!
