My condolences to Debbie Murphy and her family for their loss.
One of the things I remember about my dad is how he loved to fix things. He was always taking things apart and putting them back together.
Another fond memory I have is how he was always friendly and greeted people. Even through his dementia, he greeted the hospice workers, family members and others who were visiting and always stuck his hand out and introduced himself.
My parents were in their 20’s when they married and started their family. My dad was a big Elvis fan, in fact i thought he even kind of looked like Elvis. I remember standing on top of his feet while he held my hands and dancing with him. One of my fondest memories is my dad buying tickets for the entire family to go see Elvis at the Midsouth Coliseum.
