Pop it has been awhile since we talked I remember you coming to Gram’s each Thanksgiving. I saw the pain in your eyes every time you left. The love you had for them is something Josh, and Nicki, will carry with them forever. Your strength and courage is part of their lives I see it in Nicki everyday. Angelica and Noah don’t realize it yet but they are fearless like you as well. I remember our trip to find Nicki a rocking chair the talks we had that day. I know your suffering is over but what I wouldn’t give to have just one more talk.

Jerry and I met at the F.B.I. National Academy in 1985. Some how we became life long friends. We would catch up with what was going on in our lives by phone. Over the years I would travel to Memphis several times where we would enjoy a great meal and a small taste of Crown Royal along with a bunch of laughs. When Jerry visited New York city we got together and again enjoyed a great steak dinner at one of New York city's best steak houses. Col. Bill Taylor a former Mississippi State trooper often joined us in Memphis. As different as our careers were the similarities were endless.
Jerry we're all going to miss you, your laughs and your outlook on life.
