George was everything that was said about him in the lovely obituary and more. He was a dear friend to many. I recall with great fondness the many early morning walks George and I enjoyed for many years. He introduced me to his friends as his rabbit (referencing the pace rabbit found at the dog races). Our conversations were varied, interesting, and always lively.
He was a man of great humor and much wisdom. My relationship with him was certainly my gain. I will miss him very much, and I will cherish the memories of our time together. He made the world around him a better place. My condolences to his family, who he dearly loved.
May his lovely soul rest in piece.
