Mr. Carter and my Dad (Ray Wilkinson) were good friends and I know that they are having a wonderful time in heaven together. They both had a great sense of humor and loved to tell a good story. This world is a better place because of the Carter family. Mr. Carter will be missed. – Mary
So sorry to hear of Mr. George’s death and too late for me to get to Memphis. I always looked forward to seeing him on Sunday mornings….he was soooo tall!!! Mr. George’s smile went all the way to his eyes and warmed everyone who saw him. I appreciated his being there for my family when our dad died. Seeing Mr.Carter on Sunday mornings is one of those first memories of childhood. He was always so very friendly and always seemed so happy to see you. He made everyone feel special. You are all in my prayers.
