Floyd Edmond Williams' Obituary
Floyd Edmond Williams, 83, of Memphis, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2018. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Nancy Killebrew Williams, five children: Lynda Williams Baxis (Marc), Lynne Williams Levine, Anna Williams Marr, David Edmond Williams (Jenni) and Daniel Lee Williams (Amy), 14 grandchildren, and two sisters: Anita Woods and Dana Holt (Aubrey). Mr. Williams was a member at First Evangelical Church. He was a faithful believer and servant of his Savior, Jesus Christ. Mr. Williams was the Owner and President of The Williams Company along with being a partner in The Clothes Horse, a clothing store. He proudly served in the U.S. Army in Germany. In 1956 he graduated from the University of Memphis and married his beautiful bride. While at college, he became a member of the SAE Fraternity. His love for the outdoors and fishing in Heber Springs, Arkansas was outweighed by his love for his family and spending time with them. The visitation will be held on Friday, January 5th from 12:30pm until the time of the funeral service at 2:00pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Avenue in Memphis. The burial will immediately follow.
