Eugene "Gene" Frulla's Obituary
Eugene “Gene” Michael Frulla, 56, of Cordova, passed away Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014. He graduated from Christian Brothers High School and Memphis State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and practiced nursing for 35 years in Memphis and Nashville. Mr. Frulla was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by a daughter, Ashlea Frulla, and two sons, Geno and Evan Frulla, his mother, Jane Gagliano Frulla, one sister, Angela Frulla Correale and a brother-in-law, Lou Correale, along with two brothers, Rick Frulla and Anthony Frulla, and a grandson, Dylan Frulla. He also leaves behind his closest friend of forty years, Susan Brown Strong. Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m., April 24, 2014 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m., April 25 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 8151 Chimneyrock Blvd., Cordova, TN. Memorials may be made to The American Diabetes Association.
