i always looked forward to seeing and being greeted by Mr. Higginbotham on Sunday mornings as I went through the door he stood at. He woul always greet me with a big smile, hug and compliments. He was such a nice gentleman and I will miss seeing him. My condolences and prayers to his family and friends.

Ed was instrumental in helping my son with his Eagle Scout Project that benefited Forever Young Senior Veterans. It was beautiful to watch them work together and see a friendship form between a gentleman of 90 years and a 15 year old. Their picture together, standing in front of an American flag, will forever grace my desk and his distinct, cheerful voice will always echo in my memory. Wesley and I miss him terribly but both of us feel so blessed and privileged to have gotten to know Mr. Ed Higginbothom.
