When David and I first got married, his mother would call every afternoon after we would get home from work. I would answer the phone and proceed to hand the phone to David. Eventually I had him start answering the phone not realizing his mother would be on the other end. One day I had a question for his mom and I said to David “When your mother calls ask her” and he said “What do you mean when my mother calls”. It didn’t realize that his mom was calling every afternoon after work. He then told his mom and she thought that was the funniest thing. I love and miss you Dot.
