Thinking of you all and sending prayers. Yes, Denny was “one of a kind”. Such wonderful memories of special times at the farm. I always looked forward to your visits because the house was filled with laughter, fun and of course some great card games. The picture on the tractor touched my heart and brought tears to my eyes. Even though we might not see each other for years, the memories are there forever. Love to all.
Joanne, I am very sorry for your loss. I never had the opportunity to meet Denny. He sounds like he was a wonderful person and I know he will be greatly missed.
Denny was a good friend for many years,I was so glad when he come to see me a while back. I loved him as a friend and will miss talking to him on the phone ,praying for all of you and hope the lord will take some of that hurt from your hearts for losing him.GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU

Tony, Kelli and Aunt Josie. Words cannot express how much Scott, Emma, Dallas and I adored Uncle Denny. I still can’t believe it’s real. I am so glad we came to visit in December and was able to tell him in person how much we loved him. Life will never be the same without him, working the golf tourney this year will be done 100% in honor of him. I cherish the last 5 years I worked the tourney with him, and am so glad he was able to see them honor him for all his years of giving to St. Jude. Every summer we were so honored to stay and visit and eat and laugh and eat some more during the Fedex Golf. This week would have been the normal week, I am so sad to have to come say not good bye, but until I see you again this weekend. RIP Denny. Love you guys so much. xoxo
This is another hole in my heart that will always be. Uncle Denny will be missed so much by so many. We will hold onto this family (and each other) to get them (and us) all through this very dark valley. Taylor Strong.
