I never had such a friend as Dan. His Christian character stands out most to me. We rode many miles together as Gideons and handed out many Bibles. My friend, you are truly missed and you are now experiencing the joys of heaven you spoke of often. Linda, our hearts share your grief and love you and family very much. Dan was much more than a friend, more a brother.
Linda and Family, Dan's graduation to heaven was bittersweet for us - to know how much he will be sorely missed by you especially but also by your family and the many friends who knew and loved him! We don't grieve as one without hope but know that Dan is rejoicing with the saints of all ages, free of all pain and suffering and now in the arms of the one who loves him most - Jesus!!! Our thoughts and prayers are with you and we know that God will provide His peace and comfort during this difficult time.
Linda and Family. I am so very sorry for your loss, and my heart goes out to all of you. I worked with Dan for many years at Memphis Center. He was such a great man, who loved the Lord and all of you. You were his heart and soul. Linda, Michelle, Tim, and all the family, you are in our prayers. We just loved your dad, Michelle. He was so kind and easy to talk to. We have many good memories of him at family holiday gatherings. It was easy to see how much he loved his family. We admired him so much. You have our deepest sympathy.

Linda it is with a sad heart that read this obituary and know that the whole family will be in our prayers. Since i retired and moved away i have thought of Dan often, but didn't take the time call and check on him. Dan was great friend and we had good times together at work.

Our prayers, condolences, and heartfelt love is sent your way. We know that the volumes of memories will only partially fill your new void. We also know that Dan would not come back for anything in the world, as his very strong faith has now been turned to sight and he has eternity to praise our risen Lord and Savior in his new, pain free, heavenly body.

Dan is an example to me of what a servant of God looks like. He was kind and genuine about life and his faith in Jesus. I love you, Linda, and I am praying for you and your family. Our State Cabinet met this past weekend and you and Dan were on my mind the whole time. I guess God knew you needed the extra prayers prior to Dan's homecoming date. I'm sorry for all you had to endure. I look forward to celebrating wholeness with you both for all eternity.
I worked with Dan at Memphis Air Route Traffic Control Center for at least 20 years and he was one of the nicest most pleasant people I had the pleasure of working with. I always felt he was a very kind and good person. I'm thinking of his family with love and care during this hard and difficult time.
