My darling Auntie Connie, I am so heartbroken at your passing. Words cannot describe the emptiness I feel. I miss your voice, your smile and your laugh, your curiosity and intelligence and your wonderful spunky and unique personality. I miss our spirited and funny discussions about everything from ancient history to films and actors and crossword puzzle words. I am so blessed to have had you in my life, though I had hoped to have you for much longer than I did. We were and are soulmates of the highest order. As we discussed many times I guess your soul’s purpose has been accomplished and God has called you home. I know how much you missed and loved Dixie Lee and your Mama and Daddy and brother John and Lee, but now you are all together in each others loving arms again. Don’t forget we are still “two peas in a pod” and just remember “how much I love you, to the moon and beyond”. Until we meet again, remember you are in my heart forever. Your adoring niece, Karen

This is Connie and Dixie Lee, the dog she loved so much . Dixie was born on Connie”s birthday and that was so special to Connie. They both were aquaraus . Dixie suddenly died at 4 years old in March of 2016. It broke Connie Heart. She cried and was very upset. That was all she had, she said to be with her and comfort her. She lived alone. Connie was found dead exactly one latter week in her house by her friend Patty. patty checked on her every day and she did not answer the phone this day . Patty went to check on her . She died of a sudden heart attack. She was 85 yrs. old..Connie and Dixie were both so sweet. She often worried what would happen to Dixie if she died first. Connie was getting weary and I think she knew it was time for her. Dixie was a healthy dog and it was a surprise to me. but God takes care of everything. I know God has his plan with Connie . She was ready to go from what I hear from her friend, Patty and especially after Dixie died. RIP both of you. Love you both.
I am going to miss your Smile and your Love that you showed me, You have been the Best Mama a girl could ever have.I will miss you terribly . I did keep one of your messages you left me and can hear your voice when I want. You were a Great Lady and had a great sense of humor. I can not believe that you have left me, Now you can understand why God took Dixie a week earlier, You would have left her behind , something you never wanted to do. I hope you are not mad at God anymore. I told you , Mama , there was a reason why she went suddenly. It was your time to go on , You were getting tired and weary, I could see. But you did not understand why God took Dixie from you, the only thing you had , u said. But you would have left her behind and God know best for us all. I will always love you. and never forget all the good times we had.You were the Sweetest Mom I could ever have. Thanks for being my Mama and caring for me and Joe. We love you with all our hearts and Souls. My Heart Hurts for you and I want you here but God know best and has his plan. I will MISS YOU SO SO MUCH. I love you Mama , You will always be in my HEART!!!!!!! Had you for a while, Thank God for that….
