We connected like Friends
We talked, we laughed, we confided in one another, we reminisced, we would get silly…..the time together, like this, couldn’t have been more perfect. More real. More special. More U and Me.
You were always more than a Father-In-Law….You were a second Dad. Who valued, and appreciated, loved and respected, encouraged with such heart, was very sensitive to those things that I struggled with and would make me feel so smart.
He loved me and I loved and liked him back. I am so lost without this amazing man, and father, and friend….as my ‘second Dad’. I have never been more lucky. I have never been more Blessed. I was truly honored to have known this man.

I was sorry to read about Tubby’s death. I worked with Hilda at CBC from 1974, so I met Tubby many times at gatherings over the years. I last saw him at Hilda’s funeral, but I am glad he lived to a ripe old age. Blessings and prayers to all of you, and please know I think you had wonderful parents. Evelyn A. McDonald
