Charlie Brunjes' Obituary
Charles Anthony Brunjes, beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2026, at St. Francis Hospital, surrounded by the love of family. He was 66 years old and a resident of Collierville, TN.
Charlie was a devoted family man whose greatest joy in life was the people that he loved. He shared his life with his wife, Rhonda Brunjes, and together they built a family that was the center of his world. He was a proud father and stepfather to Jonathan Brunjes, Katie McKittrick, Melanie Mills, Natalie Hurst and her husband Adam, and Drew Dellinger and his wife Suzie.
He was a cherished grandfather to nine beautiful grandchildren: Luke, Marley, Aidan, Ella Ford and her husband River, Johnna Robinson and her husband Scott, Evelyn, Izzy, Curtis and John. His grandchildren brought him immense happiness, and he treasured every moment spent with them.
Charlie is survived by his loving wife Rhonda, his constant companion Boone, his children and grandchildren, his sister Deana Brunjes and his niece Emily McClain, her husband Bill, and their children Parker, Lila, Charlie and Ruthie.
Services will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119, Saturday June 27, 2026 at 10:00am with open visitation at 9:00am.
The Brunjes family will host a reception at their home following the service at 12:00pm. All are invited to attend.
