Charlie was the best. He was so very good to us. He made being a blended family easy-he just loved us. Charlie was hardworking, fun, and easy to talk to. We could talk about books, movies, world events….we will always have great memories of the lake, the beach, summers in North Carolina, and holidays
I’ll always remember how he and mom took care of me when I was expecting the triplets. Marley and I moved in, and he let us have full access to his home and everything in it. I’m sure it was inconvenient, but he never complained….he was just so kind in that way.
He will always be remembered, and I am so thankful for the time we had with Charlie. ❤️
One of my favorite memories of Charlie is from my sister’s and my 15th birthday. He drove from Memphis to Nashville, then to Corinth, and back to Memphis to pick up our sweet puppy, Jilli, as a surprise gift from him and Gma. It was one of the most thoughtful and memorable gifts we have ever received.
Every year on Jilli’s birthday, I am reminded of that special day and the love and generosity behind it. I remain deeply grateful to Charlie and Gma for giving us a gift that brought so much joy, companionship, and countless cherished memories over the years. It truly was the best birthday present we could have ever received.
