Hello Mary, I just learned of this from my cousin Anne Rooks, your neighbor. My husband, Ron, worked for Jeff many years ago at Oracle. I remember both of you from those years and how dear you both were. I know Ron thought the world of Jeff. He passed away in November of 2013 so I can relate to your journey. We send prayers and heartfelt sadness to Ms.Mary and the Simpson family. I felt like I knew Jeff but heard of him through my father AC Pinkard. My father worked for Jeff and Mary as a handyman for years while they resided in Atlanta. My father often spoke highly of you both and I was amazed at the kindness and thoughtfulness displayed to my Dad over the years. Words cannot describe what I am feeling right. I just found out today from my mother.I just had to send my condolences. So sorry to hear this. So sorry that I lost touch with Jeff over the years.I worked with Jeff at Oracle. Some of my greatest success and fondest memories was working on the teams that Jeff led.I can’t think about Jeff without remembering his Elvis impression at the Oracle President’s Club in Paris. In fact, I can’t hear an Elvis song without remembering Jeff. We introduced him at the Telco team kickoff meeting by playing Mojo Nixon’s “Elvis is Everywhere.” He loved it.In fact, I think I’ll just cue up some of the King’s greatest hits and remember a great guy and a great leader.Rest in Peace, Jeff.– Mike Wallach

Mary, I worked for Jeff for four years with Oracle in Atlanta. He was the best salesperson I have ever met. Much more than that, he was smart and compassionate. I learned more from this man than any other person on the planet.Very sorry

There is no one who influenced my career more than jeff. One of the greatest sales reps, vp of sales, etc, I’ve ever know. Very sorry to hear of his passing – a wonderful colleague and friend.
Sincere condolences to the entire family. I knew Jeff at Sherwood Jr. High and Overton High. He was a special person way back then, and I know he became a very fine Christian man.
