We will miss Mr Hart in the HighPoint neighborhood. What a southern gentleman! We remember him sitting on the deck at our sons house across the street and having pizza with us, even when he became bedfast, we visited him one day and we ask him if he remembered that and he replied as to everything we had to eat and he remembered it all. He would wheel all the neighbors garbage bins to the street and return them in the afternoon even when he had to use his walking stick and his sight was leaving him. We will miss him but take comfort in knowing that he is in a far better place where there is no more pain. Rest in peace Mr. Hart. WE LOVE YOULana and Jerry Dowdy
My name is Larry Summers, I was a sitter for Mr. Hart. I remember rubbing his back of his head and rubbing his back that he loved so much, he moaned and groamed and that told me that he loved it. Because i remember a few times after i did that, Mr. Hart took my hand and kissed it! I was also a witness to Mr. Hart singing with his great grand children and his son Bill, Bill has video’s of this memory! Rest in peace Mr. Hart, because I enjoyed being your sitter and I love you!
