Although it has been a very long time since I saw Monty and Carolyn and all my southern cousins, I still have very fond memories of all of you. Family reunions and that crazy ice storm Liberty Bowl....Thoughts and prayers and hugs to all of my extended family.

When Jean, Dena, and Carolyn got together on earth for a reunion it was truly a sight to behold. The unexpected was probable and laughs were guaranteed. Usually us spouses would kick back, prop our feet up, pop a beer and enjoy the show. Sometimes my face would ache for days with all the laughing.
The first to leave was in 2008. The next one in 2000, and I'm sure the two of them kept asking when the other one was going to show up. Well, on March 13th she did. So with the supporting cast of the two Bob's, Mark, Tom and all the relatives and friends that went before, I'm betting there is going to be a real reunion to top all reunions now in the Grand Banquet Hall .It's got the makings of a real doozy. Wouldn't surprise me if St. Peter temporarily suspends admissions just so he can catch the show.

Carolyn was a true "Southern Lady". I remember well when Monty brought her home to meet the family. Carolyn got down in the floor and played Jacks with us. She will be missed by many. Hugs and Prayers for the family left behind.
Some of my favorite memories of my Nana include going to the park near her house to feed the ducks, my Mondays spent with her and Grandaddy growing up while my parents worked, learning how to play all kinds of games from her including Rummikub, Uno, Jacks and Solitaire. She loved letting me help her bake brownies and cakes. The best feeling was being loved by her. She loved each of her grandchildren & great grandchildren individually and always made you feel like the most important person in the room to her when we were together. She always listened so intently to what was going on in your life. I loved sharing my experiences with her as I grew up.
I remember going to the Liberty Bowl years ago when Notre Dame played Boston College. It was freezing cold. The ice had been chipped off the seats in the stadium but not the floor. We took Carolyn and Trish with us. Leaving the stadium to go back to the car, we encountered a couple of guys who had much too much to drink. When I opened the trunk, one of them fell into the trunk of the car and I had to pull him out. Carolyn delighted in telling that story.
Carolyn was a beautiful, warm, friendly person. I also remember the first time we met her, she sat on the floor and played jacks with us. Annie
