I remember the day that Carl had a substitute teacher because his mother had passed. I went to his classroom to unlock his door approximately an hour before school started and he was sitting at his desk. He said he didn’t want his students who were struggling with math to miss his tutoring session.. He was so dedicated to his students and always thought of others before himself. He will be missed.
He was the best math teacher! He will be missed!

It’s been many years since I was a student of Mr Price’s and somehow I mentioned his name last week when my son told me he is starting Algebra in math class. I said I had the best Algebra teacher, Mr Price! I was not a fan of math in the 9th grade and was frustrated that it wasn’t coming easily to me. Mr Price came in early several days a week to help me understand it and it finally clicked. He was patient and so encouraging, never judgmental, and always willing to explain it one more time.
I’m so grateful for him. He had a profound impact on me as a young person. I became a teacher as well for 15 years before starting my own business. And now I’m happily doing Algebra homework with my kids. He’s left a great legacy in more ways than that.
Thank you, Mr Price. You will be missed.
