I am so sorry to have just found out that Captain Dorothy L. Vollmer,USMC Retired has passed away. My father Major Raymond C. Jablonski ,USMC Retired, worked with Dottie at the Naval Air Station in Millington, Tennessee. My father was also a council 135 p
I served with Capt Vollmer in the 1960’s while she was a Lieutenant. I have not seen her since we worked together, but for some reason for the last week or so, I have wanted to look for her on the internet. Today, I was sad to read that she had died.
Dottie will be missed greatly. We are so thankful that you were a part of our family for so many years!
