Byron Strom
Hello to the family of Byron. I am sorry to learn of his death. He was a good friend of my father, and his army buddy in the 102nd evacuation hospital. They were in officer candidate school together, and ended up in the same unit. I was able to speak to Byron last March after we learned he was not in Memphis, but I have never met him. My dad thought a lot of Byron, so much so that he named his second son after him. My father is E. Malcolm Strom, and still lives at 1545 D Avenue in Dwight, Kansas, 66849. He will be 99 in March. In 2011 I helped Dad prepare a small book about his time in the war. In it he has a couple photos of himself and Byron. Should anyone want a copy, Dad will be happy to send. Our condolences to you all.Byron Strom Des Moines, Iowa [email protected]
