On behalf of the First United Methodist Church in Tiptonville I would like to send our condolences at this sad time. Rev. Marita Burkeen Pastor
Gaddie family: Carroll and I are remembering you prayerfully. I have known the Gaddie family since 1953 when I entered Lambuth College in Jackson. Bill’s mother-in-law, Rena Hampton, was our dorm mother. I can still picture his young, curly-headed daughter, Carol, as she trailed her grandmother around during room inspections. In retirement, I occasionally get to preach to Andy and his family at Bemis. Bill and I served in both the Brownsville and Lexington Districts at the same time. We’ll always remember his stories, his voice and laughter. May God comfort and keep you. Rev. Russell N. Gallimore, clergy colleague
We were sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. He meant a lot to our church family as it was a great joy having him with us when Gail was our pastor. Prayers for the family.
