Though we live far away, my sister and I never stopped feeling connected to Grandma Larson. She sent us beautiful homemade cards every birthday and Christmas, and when we called her she never grew tired of us regaling her with our exploits. She always kept learning and loving life, too: last summer when I went to Spain she sent me guidebooks, scoured the internet, and ended up knowing more than I did about every place I visited. I will miss her cheerfulness, her tenacity, her curiosity, and her sense of humor, but most of all I will miss my loving grandmother. Much love, Amelia Larson
Grandma Larson, I am already missing you so very much! You had such a beautiful and contagious smile. I love how you found joy in the simplest of things. I will miss your homemade cards, thoughtful gestures, sharing a cup of coffee (you got me hooked on this), watching the Bachelor with you and your hilarious comments, your outlook on life, your warm hugs and how deeply you loved us! Some of my fondest childhood memories are from staying at your house on weekends: cooking, popcorn, movies, plays (you let us go on and on), making up stories together, you singing “Rise and shine and give God…” on Sunday mornings to wake us up while clapping loudly (at that moment I did not like it as I am not a morning person but looking back , oh how sweet it was)! I can still hear your voice in my head! Thank you for being such a wonderful grandmother and great grandmother. I will cherish our memories and hold them close to my heart and take you with us wherever we go! I love you!!!

I was going to say the same thing, loved her fudge! Some of my fondest memories were the holidays spent at Aunt Bettys. So glad we got to spend time with her this summer! Love you all, Chris
So sorry for you all. Juiia, Chris and Tony
I always enjoyed seeing Ms. Betty at family gatherings. She always had such poise and charm and a refreshing point of view! And she was always smiling.
Sending our deepest condolences to the Larson family. We enjoyed spending time with Betty during her visits to Rhode Island. We are very fortunate to have known her. She was a wonderful and inspiring woman. Marisa, Martino, and Virginia Nardo (Friends of Dave and Sue Larson)
