Betty was my dear friend for 30 years. We met when Union Planters Bank merged with Leader Federal Savings and Loan. We had so much fun shopping and enjoying lunch together. When I lived in Texas from 2007 to 2015, we still stayed in contact with each other So when I returned in 2015, we started back our shopping and lunch outings like I had never been gone. As time does, outings decreased but it was nothing to modify them wherever Betty “lived” and join her there. Betty was so smart. If I could not remember, I could count on her to remind me. I am so so blessed to have had such a dear friend in Betty. This last year of her life Betty taught me so much about true friendship and what it means to love someone unconditionally. I will miss her so much.
