Fred Beilstein
To Jeff & Scott, Losing your mother is one of the most emotional things that you will ever go through. You may know my sister, Mary Lou Beilstein-Roth from G-town High. I got to know your mother when I worked at the Saddle Creek Rite-Aid. She was always so upbeat and cheerful. I don't know how it came up, but she found out that "Desperate Housewives" was my favorite TV show. We always talked about what was going on, and made predictions about what the next show would bring. I knew the show was going off the air after a long run, but I didn't know she was there for the wrap party. Imagine my surprise when she showed up with a gift for me. I had no idea what it might be, so know it brought tears to my eyes when I opened it up and saw what she had brought. It was a picture of all the "housewives", autographed by all, and framed. Talk about amazing! It has a place of honor in our house. Visitors would always ask about it. Shortly after that, I got sick and had to quit working in the Pharmacy, without thinking to write down her Name and Phone#.to call or send her a thank-you note. So, I never saw her again. But she really touched me, and I have a wonderful remembrance of her. She was so proud of both of you, and I just wanted to let you know. I lost my Mom last year, and it was both devastating and happy at the same time. She had Alzheimer's for the last 6 years of her life. I hope that didn't happen to you guys. Anyway, your Mom was an amazing woman, and I will always remember her with great fondness. With love, Fred Beilstein.
