Betty Hall Cobb's Obituary
Betty Hall Cobb (100) of Memphis passed away peacefully on October 25th, 2023.
Betty was born in Harrisburg, Arkansas on April 4, 1923, to Earle Hall and Emily Nelms Hall. She attended Arkansas State University before coming to work in Memphis at the Army Depot. It was there that she met her future husband Max.
She was preceded in death by her husband Max D. Cobb, a sister Hazel Crider (Buell) of Jonesboro AR, and a son Thomas Cobb (Melanie) of Bartlett, TN.
She is survived by her daughter Suzanne Henley (William) and grandchildren Jennifer Henderson (Tim), Patrick Clark (Stephanie), Julie Cobb Nanney (Brian), David Cobb (Sarah Jane), Ray Henley (Amy), Todd Henley and eight great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Saint Paul’s United Methodist Church, Lakeland.
The family invites friends to gather Wednesday November 1, 2023 for a visitation starting at 1:00pm with funeral services starting at 2:00pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery 5668 Poplar Ave Memphis, TN
