When Betty became my mother's dear friend, she became my friend as well. No visit to Memphis to see Mom was complete unless I spent time with Betty. I will never see an Arby's, a Walgreens, and, of course, a cardinal at a bird feeder without thinking of Betty. Betty was always the life of the party and in the middle of whatever was happening at Bellevue Woods. I will miss her! Martha Hendricks
