Katie, Howard, and Molly, Betsy was a very special person to me. She and I were in the same sorority at Rhodes (Southwestern-at-Memphis) and we shared the same interest in art, although her talent was much greater than mine. The year that I graduated (1960), I decided to live in Memphis and needed a temporary place’s to stay. Betsy and her mom allowed me to stay with them at her mom’s house that summer. We kept in touch until last Christmas, when I lost contact. I did not know that she was ill. Please accept my condolences. She loved you all so much.
