I just heard about Ben’s passing today. Ben and I were both strong personalities and butted heads on more than one occasion, but I always enjoyed talking with him. His humor, wit and wealth of knowledge will be sorely missed by all who called him “friend, mentor and colleague”. Rest in Peace Ben, and my deepest condolences to Janice and family.

It always hard to say goodbye to a friend. Ben and Janice came into my life through work, but soon a friendship formed. No matter how hard the day was for any of us, Ben always had a smile. It is an honor to call Ben friend and a pleasure to have known him. I’ve only known Ben and Janice for about 6 years but the friendship has made a lifelong impression on me.
