B.A. (Buddy) Shindler, 84, of Germantown, TN, passed away on November 4, 2020. A Marine Corps veteran, Buddy is survived by his wife of 51 years, Susan Embury Shindler, and daughter, Tiffany Shindler Friend, of Germantown, TN. He Read Obituary
When we moved to Memphis in 1986 Buddy was one of the first to befriend me and my family. If I ever needed anything Buddy was right there. He often said we should open a tee shirt store in Destin. I loved his stories about Memphis and growing up and never had a bad word to say about anyone. I loved Buddy and will cherish my memories with him forever. Rest well Buddy, you were one of kind.

Hey Buddy, Just got the news and wanted to say thank you for all you did for me in the early years of my career. You took a chance on a rookie when you hired me at Union Planters Bank in '78. You taught me a lot for the next few years when we were downtown and when IBG set up shop out east. We had some great times and you made a lot of people laugh with you antics, stories. I think you genuinely cared for people from you best clients down to the maintenance men. You where a very special guy and I love you and will miss you. I hope you are with Vining now on that big sales floor beyond.
