Annice Bolton's Obituary
Annice McDaniel Bolton died December 8, 2017. She was born August 30, 1927, in Memphis, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin C. McDaniel, Sr., and Katie Lou Beckett McDaniel, and by her sister Bernice McDaniel Clark.She is survived by her children, Beverly Bolton (William “Buck” Stevens) and Jan Bolton Dillon (Paul); her grandchildren, Margaret Beard (Tyler), Brad Dillon, and Meredith Dillon; and her twin great-grandchildren, Caroline Reynolds Beard and William Bolton Beard.She is also survived by her sister, Shirley McDaniel Tilton, her brothers, Alvin C. McDaniel, Jr., and George Robert McDaniel (Barbara), and many nieces and nephews.Annice was an avid golfer. She was a member of Colonial Country Club and several ladies golf groups. She was also a member of the Memphis Scottish Society and The Nineteenth Century Club. Because of her interest in genealogy, she was active in Early Descendants of Shelby County and The Tennessee Genealogical Society. She was an enthusiastic traveler, who visited all 50 states and every continent except Antarctica.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or Shriners Hospitals for Children, Attn: Office of Development, 2900 N. Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. and funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 21 at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
