She taught me typing at MHA and we went to church together at Sycamore View church of Christ back in the early 80's. I think the only reason I passed typing is because she liked me and took pity on me.

I want to send much love to Robin and Theresa because is hard to lose our moms. My very favorite class was the English class I had with Mrs. Brewer. Her lively dramatic presentations in class brought all she taught to life. I owe my deep love of all things English to her. What a wonderful presence she was on this planet and in all of our lives. I will keep her and her family in my prayers. Also, I loved riding the school bus with Robin and going to Jackson Avenue C of C when Brother Brewer preached there. Much Love! Sincerely, Grace Suzanne Cole Hamilton
Class of 1978 here - Mrs. Brewer was a positive influence in my life -- even though I was too immature to realize such until 20 years later. Her forcing us to learn and recite the first 19 lines of the Canterbury Tales has stuck with me all these years later. Thank you, Mrs. Brewer. And to the family, very sorry for your loss.

I remember your mom as a gracious and giving and kind woman. She always had a smile for everyone. Your dad married me and my husband at Jackson Avenue. My parents, Manuel and Louise Childers, loved your mom and dad. So sorry for your loss, but blessed by having known them. Sandy Childers Chavis
